Digestive Enzymes

  • Elite Zyme Pro Digestive EnzymesYour body requires enzymes and minerals to regulate every biochemical and metabolic process in our bodies.

  • Protealytic enzymes have been found to increase the immune system's macrophage (white blood cell) activity by up to 700% and...

  • Increase T-cell (cancer fighting cell) production and activity by as much as 1300% within a very short period of time after ingestion!

Enzymes are essential to life. Enzymes are the foundation of energy and the life force in all living things. Without enzymes, seeds would not sprout, fruit would not ripen, leaves would not change color, and you would not exist. Enzymes are responsible for building, detoxifying, and healing your body. They are the force that allow your body to digest and absorb food.

Elite-Zyme Pro uses the highest quality all-natural blend of plant based digestive enzymes available on the market today, and at a fair price!

Elite-Zyme Pro
is our most potent high activity digestive enzyme product because it has a higher activity level of protease, amylase, lipase, cellulase and also includes six other enzymes. The higher activity levels assist in digesting more proteins, fats, carbohydrates and fiber. Elite-Zyme Pro may also be taken between meals to aid in detoxification.*

Enzymes are the force that allows our body to digest and absorb food. Our body requires enzymes and minerals to regulate every biochemical and metabolic process in our bodies as well as all living things.

If you eat fast, processed, or cooked food, supplemental enzymes assist in the digestion of these enzyme deficient foods. Researchers have discovered that processing or cooking foods, virtually kill all enzymes that the food once contained. This is unfortunate because food enzymes are essential in the first step of proper digestion, absorption, and usage of these vital nutrients found in the foods we eat.

Elite-Zyme Pro utilizes only plant-based enzymes from Aspergillis Orzae, Aspergillus Niger, Rhizopus-Oryzae, Saccharomyces and Bromelain. This is a high activity formulation designed to aid our digestive system when eating cooked and processed foods. Enzymes may also be taken between meals and/or before bed to aid in detoxification.

Dr. Francis Pottenger conducted a now-famous independent study about the long-term effects of eating cooked foods. The study involved 900 cats over the course of ten years. During the study, Dr. Pottenger fed two sets of cats raw milk and meat. He also fed another three sets of cats pasteurized milk and cooked meat. The cats that ate the raw food were healthy, disease-free, and produced healthier kittens generation after generation. At the end of the first generation, cats that ate cooked foods were lethargic and began to suffer from allergies, infections, and other maladies, including kidney, heart, thyroid, and gum diseases. Each succeeding generation of cats that ate cooked food showed progressively more illness and disease. The third generation of cats that ate cooked food were not even able to produce offspring.

Whether we are cats, dogs, or human beings, when enzyme-dead food is eaten, the body is overburdened to produce enzymes to aid in the process of digestion. The body will actually interrupt the making of vital metabolic enzymes in order to compensate for the enzyme deficiencies in the foods we eat. Enzyme-less diets are responsible for many of humanity’s ills, including the shortening of lives. Today, doctors are treating children for juvenile arthritis, sugar diabetes, and other degenerative diseases that just a few years ago were found only in people in their fifties and sixties.

After thinking about the study above, many of us may want to believe the way to improve our health and longevity, is to eat more fruits and raw vegetables. And take digestive enzymes when eating cooked and/or processed foods.

Listed below in red are the various enzymes which are in this product.

Protease: Breaks down protein to peptides and amino acids.

Bromelain: Protease enzyme that also breaks down protein.

Amylase: Breaks down starch "-1,4 glucan bonds". Breaks down carbohydrates, starches, and sugars that are prevalent in potatoes, fruits, vegetables, and snack foods.

Malt Diastase: Digests maltose, malt and grain sugars. Breaks down complex and simple sugars.

Lipase: Breaks down fats (triglycerides and other lipids) and oils. Useful in aiding in weight control, maintaining and enhancing cardiovascular health, and may help maintain proper gall bladder function.

Lactase: Aids in the digestion of lactose. Lactase breaks down lactose that is found in milk sugars. Useful for individuals suffering from lactose intolerance.

Cellulase: Cellulase increases the availability of anthocyanidins, powerful antioxidants from grapes and other berries. Cellulase breaks down fiber, helping to solubilize nutrients from fruits and vegetables.

Invertase (Sucrase): Catalyzes the inversion of sucrose (table sugar) to glucose and fructose.

Phytase: Breaks down phosphate and digests phytate. Phytate is a mineral-binding agent that reduces the bioavailability of certain minerals such as zinc, iron, and calcium. When cooked grains are eaten, almost none of the phytate is degraded. Results from research by Ann-Sofie Sandberg of Goteborg University in Sweden, indicate that dietary phytase is critical for human digestion of phytate.

Pectinase: Breaks down pectin that is found in fruits, which allows these vital nutrients to be utilize by our body.

Ionic Trace Minerals with Alfalfa : Provides the minerals to enhance the functions of the enzymes.

Human digestive tract

The pH in the human digestive tract varies greatly (see Human Digestive Tract pH Range Chart on the left side).  The pH of saliva is usually between 6.5  -  7.5.  After we chew and swallow food it then enters the fundic or upper portion of the stomach which has a pH between 4.0 - 6.5.  This is where "predigestion" occurs while the lower portion of the stomach is secreting hydrochloric acid (HCI) and pepsin until it reaches a pH between 1.5 - 4.0.  After the food mixes with these juices it then enters the duodenum (small intestine) where the pH changes to 7.0 - 8.5.  This is where 90% of the absorption of nutrients is taken in by the body while the waste products are passed out through the colon (pH 4.0 - 7.0).

Where do enzymes come from?  Enzymes come from one of three sources;  plants, animals, or microbes (see Enzyme Comparison Chart below).  Plant enzymes (bromelain and papain) work in a wide pH range but only digest some proteins.  Animal enzymes (pepsin, pancreatin) work in a very limited pH range and only digest some of the food groups.  The microbial enzymes (Elite-Zyme Pro) are the only ones that work in a wide pH range and will digest all of the food groups.

The Enzyme Comparison Chart

Microbial or fungal enzymes are the only enzymes that digest all of the major food groups in the widest possible pH range while remaining free of any animal content (see below for details).
